Do I see clients in person or virtually?
Both! I am in the office on Thursday and Fridays and try to reserve those days for in person clients. I see client’s virtually Monday-Wednesday and may be able to accommodate a virtual client on a Thursday or Friday.
Do I accept insurance?
I accept some major insurances and have a limited number of slots available for clients looking to use insurance. To accept insurance comes with many limitations and additional work which limits our ability to truly personalize our work together. Some insurance companies limit the number of sessions you can have which can interfere in our personalized work together. To use insurance also requires a diagnosis and medical necessity which can feel stigmatizing. I am happy to discuss a reduced rate if I am unable to accept your insurance at this time.

So glad you asked. Finding the “right” therapist can feel like going on bunch of dates until you’ve finally sat down with someone you connect with. I am happy to offer a free initial consultation to see what it feels like to engage with me and to ask me any questions you may have.
