Hi I’m Katy
LCSW and Certified Brainspotting Clinician
I’ve spent over 15 years supporting individuals through some of life’s most vulnerable and transformational seasons. My work is grounded in both professional training and lived experience, and I bring my full humanity into the therapy space — as a mother, partner, daughter, friend, and fellow human navigating the complexities of being alive.
Motherhood — and life itself — can surface parts of us we didn’t even know were there. Anxiety, depression, overwhelm, and the longing to feel in control can show up in ways that feel confusing or even frightening. I know firsthand what it’s like to feel stuck in those places, and I also know that healing doesn’t come from forcing change — it comes from learning how to listen inward, understand your nervous system, and gently build a relationship with all the parts of yourself.
My work centers on helping you reconnect with that inner voice, develop trust in yourself, and move through life’s transitions with more steadiness and self-compassion. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you — it’s about helping you understand yourself.
Outside of my role as a therapist, I’m someone who deeply values both connection and solitude. I love time with my family, and I also know how essential it is for me to recharge alone. You’ll often find me hiking, walking, strength training, rearranging a room to create a fresh space, or getting lost in a great piece of fiction. (Cooking, meal prep, and a tidy house, however, are not my strengths — and I’m at peace with that.)
If you’re here, you may already sense that something inside is asking for attention. You don’t have to navigate that alone. It would be an honor to support you.
Lets Connect….
Why I Do This Work
I believe support should be something we normalize, not something we wait until we’re desperate for. Healing doesn’t have to mean fixing yourself — it can begin with simply being seen, understood, and met with compassion.
I believe that when even a small part of us heals, it contributes to healing the world as a whole. We are all connected, and the care we offer ourselves ripples outward into our relationships, families, and communities.
Because healing happens in relationship, therapy can become a meaningful space to re-learn trust, safety, and connection — both with others and within yourself. It’s a place where you can discover that you were never broken, and begin to experience the strength and possibility that emerge when you build a kinder relationship with your own inner world.
This work is more than a profession — it’s a calling. It would be a sincere honor to walk alongside you and support you on your healing journey.
